Metuchen Capacitors Statement on DFARS

The Federal Government requires us to comply with DFAR 252.225-7014 which places restrictions on the place of origin, which
has been defined as the place of melt, for the following “specialty metals”:
STEEL with alloy metal content exceeding one or more of the following limits:
            Manganese 1.65 %
            Silicon        0.60 %
            Copper           0.60%        
            Aluminum, Chromium, Cobalt, Columbium, Molybdenum, Nickel, Titanium, Tungsten,
            Vanadium   0.25 %
           Alloys whose main constituent is Nickel, Iron-Nickel or Cobalt which contain more than
          10 % of any other metal with the exception of Iron.
          Titanium
          Titanium Alloys (All)
          Zirconium
          Zirconium based alloys (alloys whose main constituent is Zirconium).

Any such specialty metals used in parts supplied to us must have been melted in the United States or one of the following
countries:
        Australia
        Belgium
        Canada
        Denmark
        Germany
        France
        Greece
        Israel
        Italy
        Luxembourg
        Norway
        Portugal
        Spain
        Sweden
        Switzerland
        Turkey
        Great Britain
        Ireland
        Egypt
        Netherlands
